Under the Village Tree Welcomes Young Readers to Korean Village Life

Under the Village Tree features the work of Korean artist Yisook Kim  in a picture book that brings the heart of traditional Korean village, the village tree, to young readers in the US. The book presents 13 different drawings of village trees from around South Korea in bold lines and vivid colors. The drawings in the book progress through the seasons, showing the changing seasons as the nuggets of information about life in the village unfolds.
